The Makita 4-1/2 Inch angle grinder is powered by an 11 Amp motor that rotates at 11，000 RPM. The large paddle switch allows for power start press points at multiple grip positions. Narrow barrel grip design ensures enhanced hand comfort while operating. Integrated tethering loop can be attached to lanyards while working at heights or on a lift. Protective zig-zag varnish seals the armature so that no dust or debris enters. The large spindle lock button allows for easy wheel changes while wearing gloves. Anti-restart protection is engineered to avoid motor start up in the on-power switch position after a power disruption. Labyrinth construction offers long lasting durability by preventing the entry of debris to motor， bearings and gears. It is perfect for welders， fabricators， masons and maintenance/repair. The spiral bevel gears offer smoother rotations and a more efficient transfer of energy. It features a two stage power lock-off switch for easy start of the grinder.
